Fieldwork

Fieldwork in Shetland, Norway and Iceland play a substantial part of TAP, bringing novel methodical and theoretical insights to the topic of assembly sites and state formation in Europe.

Five reports have been published on the TAP website. Two other field reports are in progress: the geophysical work at three assembly sites in Iceland and the excavations at Lunde, Norway. Both reports are very close to being finished and will be published online on the TAP website in spring 2014.
