Exhibition: Trust and Distrust

The Exhibition that is part of the project's public outreach - Trust and Distrust - will be hosted by Museum of Cultural Museum in Oslo. The opening of the Exhibition is scheduled to spring 2017.

Project leader: Peter Bjerregaard Designer: Eilie Lindøe

In the Project description the exhibition is described as follows: In the final stage of this project an exhibition will be staged in the Museum of Cultural History in Oslo. The exhibition will combine solid scholarly Research with innovative perspectives that create dialogues between past, present and future society. Through facilitated workshops we will bring together Groups of people from different cultural, scientific and professional background to discuss questions of trust and morality in money matters. The starting point for this exhibition is the conflicting moral views on money that was expressed in an age were money was well established within the society, but where money economy was in its infancy. We want to use this focus on the past to propose new perspectives on the relation between money and morality in contemporary Norway, and try to take a look into the near future where radical change is taking shape leading us towards a cashless society.
