Participants in the round table discussion will include:
Svein Wiik (conservator)
Tom Wike (architect)
Petter Molaug (archaeologist)
Inger-Helene Wibe-Myller (archaeologist)
Unn Plahter (conservation scientist)
Dr Unn Plather was employed as conservation scientist at the museum. The other participants worked with Sverre Fehn during the exhibition conceptualization and installation.
The group discussion is a chance for their voices to be heard, given the current intensive debates around the Sverre Fehn exhibition as well as the potential move into the National Gallery building. I subsequently intend to publish a paper that will include outcomes of this discussion.
Some points to be discussed will include:
Sverre Fehn’s conceptualization
Aesthetics of the exhibition
Martin Blindheim’s involvement
Selection of sculptures and objects for display
