Wedding blanket

(UEM49202) The cloth under the embroidery is somewhat darker than the other blankets in the series. The outer vertical border of each panel has the characteristic multi coloured diagonal lines pattern. In the centre of each panel running vertically are two big diamonds and a mosque or a house at one end. This latter motif is at diagonally opposite ends of the panels. Delimiting the ends of the two panels is a V motif like a roof. Additional motifs consisting of a profusion of living creatures: man, birds, fish, dogs, horses ,insects and so on. These are interspersed with vegetal and geometric motifs. The fringes are plaited. This blanket is especially bright and fresh.
