    (UEM49192) Double bordered on the vertical sides of the two panels. Characteristic multi-colored diagonal lines pattern on the inner and outer edges of both panels. Each panel is divided into three sections. Outer sections of each panel: two diamonds surrounded by flowers, animals, and human figures. The central section of each panel: a possible architectural element with birds animals and human figures.

    (UEM49193) Characteristic multi-colored diagonal lines pattern only on the inner vertical edges of the two panels. Diamond pattern on the outer edges. Motifs: big diamonds, flowers, girls in a row. Possibly four blond mermaids on each panel, camel riders, garlanded figures, vases, and possibly two mihrab/mosques on each panel.

    (UEM49194) Double borders. Multi-coloured diagonal lines at the outer vertical edges of both panels. Motifs: two big blue horses with riders, animals, vegetal motifs, architectonic motif, domesticated animals and possibly water jars.

    (UEM49195) Triple border. Characteristic multi-colored diagonal lines pattern at the vertical edges of both panels. Each panel is divided into four sections with a central diamond motif. All around these are geometric patterns, flowers, and other vegetal motifs. Also a rider in one of the panels. The embroidery is lightly worked and does not completely cover the background cloth. Would seem that the background color is used as part of the decorative scheme. The fringes are plaited.

    (UEM49196) One of the two panels has been removed. The outer edge has the characteristic multi-colored diagonal lines pattern. The central area is divided into sections with big diamonds these are divided by alternating sections with chequered/geometrical motifs. The big diamonds contain flowers and are also surrounded by flowers. This blanket is not decorated with living creatures.

    (UEM49197) The background color is lighter here than on the other blankets. Double borders, all four vertical edges of the panels have the characteristic multi-colored diagonal pattern. The center of each panel has four diamonds and each of the ends of the panels terminates with a pointed arch. The whole is interspersed with flowers and living creatures (birds, camels, fish, and other animals).

    (UEM49198) Triple borders at each vertical edge of the two panels. Outer edge of each panel has the characteristic multi coloured diagonal lines pattern. The other borders have geometrical /vegetal motifs. In the centre length wise are four big diamonds surrounded by a pattern of uniform flowers. All four ends of the panels are closed in with a triangle in which a human fig. Other motifs elsewhere: birds, flowers and trees.

    (UEM49199) The vertical edges have double borders with the multicloured diagonal lines pattern on all four edges. The centre of both panels is divided into three sections. Each outer section has a diamond which is decorated with flowers and living creatures (camels, birds, insects and human figures) on the inside and outside. In the big middle section of each panel there are two architectonic motifs (possibly a mosque) with their roofs converging towards the centre. Otherwise all over decoration of geometric and vegetal motifs.

    (UEM49200) The blanket has triple borders down the four edges. The outer vertical borders has the characteristic multi coloured diagonal-lines pattern. In each panel there are four diamonds in a field of flowers and motifs consisting of vegetal and living creatures such as a turtle-like animal (with ears!), a seated figure, insects and also star- like motifs.

    (UEM49201) Triple borders along the vertical edges. The two innermost borders have the characteristic multi coloured diagonal lines pattern. Vertically on both panels there are 4 diamonds containing and surrounded by human figs. riding or bearing things on head and imaginary animals ressembling snails, birds, tortoises,cats, bovines (four legged) camels etc. Central motif on each of the pannels: four diamonds. 

     

    Crochet embroidered wool twill cloth. Different from the others in the series in that this one is decorated on a green background. The two vertical borders/edges, unlike the others, does not have the diagonal lines pattern. Each vertical panel has four big diamonds surrounded by flowers. two male figures in each panel. Fringes not knotted. To be revised and completed, object not available.

    (UEM49202) The cloth under the embroidery is somewhat darker than the other blankets in the series. The outer vertical border of each panel has the characteristic multi coloured diagonal lines pattern. In the centre of each panel running vertically are two big diamonds and a mosque or a house at one end. This latter motif is at diagonally opposite ends of the panels. Delimiting the ends of the two panels is a V motif like a roof. Additional motifs consisting of a profusion of living creatures: man, birds, fish, dogs, horses ,insects and so on. These are interspersed with vegetal and geometric motifs. The fringes are plaited. This blanket is especially bright and fresh.

    (UEM49203) This blanket has double borders on either side of both panels. There is the characteristic diagonal lines pattern on the outer edges and a border of diamonds on the innermost borders of the panels. In the centre of each panel there is a big diamond motif and on both sides of the panels, possibly a roof delimiting the centre field where there are plants and a vase/perfume-like motif. Other motifs consist of geometrical/architectonic motifs, vegetal and living creatures such as female figures in a row of threes, camels, bird atop a tree et cetera.

    (UEM49204) Both panels have double vertical borders with the characteristic multi cloured diagonal lines pattern on all four edges. The motifs are all bold. In the centre of both panels there is a small diamond with two bigger diamonds on either side. In the middle of these is a big flower with ray like petals.Other motifs consist of pecking birds, human figures (girls with blue or red hair in a row, and dancing girls), flowers and geometrical patterns.

    (UEM49205) The blanket has double vertical borders.  The characteristic multi coloured diagonal lines pattern are on all of the four vertical edges of the two panels. Each panel has four diamonds in which there is a large flower or a wheel-like motif with rays. There are girls surrounding two of the diamonds in two of their corners and in the other two diamonds in there stylised mudhifs (local guest houses ) in two of the corners. The embroidery is somewhat crude.

    (UEM49206) The blanket is double bordered. There is the characteristic multi coloured diagonal lines pattern at the vertical edges of both panels. At both ends of each of the vertical panels there is a flowering plant which faces towards the centre and therefore limits the central area. In the centre are two diamond shaped motifs containing birds. In addition there is also a profusion of living creatures such as camels, birds, insects, architectoral motifs, as well as flowers and plants.

    (UEM49208) This blanket has double borders. Only the outer edges of the two panels have the characteristic multi coloured diagonal lines pattern. The first vertical panel consist of a chequeredboard of flowers, a girl with long hair wearing a short dress. In centre of the panel is a diamond with flowers, a diamond with a rabbit and two pomegranates, two long legged camels, one which has a rider and chequered board of flowers. 

     

    The second vertical panel has a chequered board of flowers, a crowned female figure surrounded by animals and a coffee pot. In the centre of the panel there is a diamond with flowers surrounded by animals, a diamond with a fish surrounded by animals; a big and a small camel with a man holding one of them; chequeredboard of flowers.  

    The colours are more garish and embroidery rougher than on the other blankets. 

     

    The central area of each panel is divided into four sections which are further separated into panels of a floral motif. In the centre are human figures (female figures with short dresses), houses, camels,riders, fish, rabbits, scorpions, birds and multi-petalled flowers as well as four-petalled ones and a pomegranate motif. To be checked and completed.

    (UEM49209) This blanket has double borders, where only the inner edges of the two panels have the characteristic multi coloured diagonal lines pattern. The outer edges have a border of small two- colourd diamonds. Vertically in each panel: in the centre a diamond surrounded by animals on either side,then a shield-like/house-like motif, then on either side (a symetrical design) a snake and at each of the ends a section with human figures and long legged animals.

In the centre of the panels there are four diamonds within which there are flowers and animals surrounding the diamonds a profusion of flowers and animals such as camels and dogs, also insects and other stylised unidentifiable motifs.

    (UEM49211) The background cloth is black, much thinner and not hidden by the embroidered work as in the others in the series.No border but a thin line of embroidery outlines the embroidered section from the edges. Each panel of the blanket is divided into twelve sections giving impression of a grid. There is an over all pattern of repeated stylised motifs in rows. Unidentifiable motifs are possibly sheeves of grass, huts, comb-like motif, timeglass motif also plants and ferns. Spreading over both panels of the blanket/over the middle seam are circles in which there are flowers and other unidentifiable motifs

    (UEM49212) Green background cloth. Double borders at all four verticals of stylised plants and insects. Each vertical panel of the blanket has four diamonds each contained in a square. In the squares and also inside the diamonds are circles and perhaps stylised flowers. In between these four sections are narrower sections with the following motifs: An unidentifiable motiv, male figures,"whirlpools", crisscross pattern forming diamonds, and a repetion of the unidentifiable motif. This blanket is quite different from the others.
