Description: Wooden comb where two male figures wearing hats are sitting on chairs facing each other. Stylistically the object resembles combs deriving from the Chokwe people. Decorated objects, like this comb, were used as power symbols amongst the Chokwe chiefs.
The object was delivered to the Ethnographic museum as part of Dr. Inge Heibergs collection. 1903-1920.
