Description: Richly ornamented ceremonial axe from Kasaï. Small faces are visible on the shaft. This part of the axe is made from wood with brass wrapped around it. The blade is made from iron.

Lieutenant Finn Kjelstrup donated the axe to the Ethnographic museum. Approx. 1911.
