Description: Large ceremonial axe with anthropomorphic abilities. The blade is made from iron rods where 42 human faces appear. The shaft is made from copper. The blade is 34 cm in length, whilst the shaft is 44.5 cm long.
This object was donert to the Ethnographic museum as part of Dr. Inge Heibergs collection. Approx 1903-1920.
