Academic interests

My research interests include the Viking Age, mortuary archaeology and social behaviours, gender archaeology and feminist perspectives. I am currently involved in researching human sacrifice as a ritual behaviour. The production and use of archaeology knowledge interests me greatly, as does the link between uses of heritage and archaeological produced knowledge.
